Indira (Chihuahua, México) is a Ph.D. student in the Spanish and Portuguese department. She has a wide range of interests in literature and visual arts, including drama and poetry. Her research focuses on the common ground within the visuality of language and pictorial artefacts. She is particularly interested in biopolitics in the arts to understand the continuity of the “old” production with the “new” highlighting the genesis of the arts, incorporating a variety of literary genres, and various artistic medias such as painting, theater and photography. Her research is mostly trans-geographic and anachronic.
