Biography —
Eleanor is in her second year of KU’s master's program in museum studies. She is passionate about preserving, interpreting, and sharing cultural heritage. Eleanor is pursuing a career that bridges museum studies and auction work, grounded in collections management, cataloging, provenance research, and object-based scholarship. Her academic and professional experiences have also provided insight into the business operations that support cultural institutions, including collection valuation, market analysis, donor and client relations, and strategic stewardship of cultural assets. A notable accomplishment is developing a comprehensive catalog for a Salvador Dalí The Divine Comedy wood-engraving collection, demonstrating attention to detail, research skills, and a commitment to making collections accessible and meaningful. Additionally, Eleanor’s graduate-level internship with the National World War I Museum and Memorial provided hands-on experience working with historical collections, exhibitions, and public history initiatives. She is eager to contribute these skills to institutions and organizations dedicated to preserving and interpreting cultural and historical assets. Outside of her professional pursuits, Eleanor is a certified yoga instructor, bringing mindfulness, and adaptability to work and collaborations.
