Biography

Sam Snyder is a Museum Studies Master’s student at the University of Kansas. Sam’s primary focus is collections management; however, in concert with collections, Sam strives to understand nonprofit management, archival practice, and non-traditional media’s role in collections. As an undergraduate, Sam graduated with honors, publicly presented her art historical research, exhibited her own glass works, and published curated exhibits on Topekan artists at the Mulvane Art Museum. Upon graduation, Sam aims to pursue a career in collections management at an arts-based institution while pursuing her passion for creating stained and fused glass.
