Biography

Rachel Straughn-Navarro is the current School and Educator Engagement Coordinator at the Spencer Museum of Art and a member of faculty in the Museum studies department. She has curated and cocurated multiple exhibitions, such as Shattering the Void: Realms of Meaning in East Asian Art and Rooted, Revived, and Reinvented: Basketry in America. Navarro's research interests include museum studies, university art museums, art history pedagogies, and inclusion, accessibility, and social-emotional learning in museums.
