Washington, D.C. Internship Program

The Museum Studies Program participates in the University of Kansas’ Washington, D.C. Internship Program. The program—now 25 years old—is headed by Professor Burdett Loomis in the Political Science department.

MUSE students are eligible to spend a spring semester as an intern at a suitable institution in Washington. MUSE students would enroll in six hours of internship (MUSE 799) and, if they chose, the Washington Intern Seminar (POLS 494). Students who graduate in December are also eligible to participate without credit. For more information about KU’s Washington, D.C. Internship Program, please click here.
