Program Faculty Advisory Committee
The Museum Studies program is administered by the director in consultation with a faculty advisory committee. The Faculty Advisory Committee (FAC) of the Museum Studies program is composed of representatives from each of the Museum Studies academic “track” departments; the director of a campus museum; and the president of the Museum Studies Student Organization. Members of the FAC are appointed by the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in consultation with the Museum Studies director and the Graduate School. The FAC advises the director regarding program policies, academic quality of the program, admissions standards, and budgetary and curricular issues. Each track department’s representatives on the FAC are also responsible for advising MUSE students about course selection in that track.
