Jessica Young

Primary office:


Jessica graduated summa cum laude in 2014 with her Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Religious Studies from The Ohio State University. She graduated in the spring of 2016 from the University of Utah with a Master of Arts in History. Jessica is interested in American religious history and gender in the nineteenth century, as well as questions regarding religion and identify formation, women in religion, religion as it creates lifestyles and communities, and religion's influence on the lives of ordinary people. By moving to Museum Studies, she hopes to learn and develop the skills necessary to share her knowledge and passion for history with the public. She is currently serving as the Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) to the Museum Studies department.
