Jacinta Johnson joined KU Libraries’ Conservation Services Department in late January 2019 as the Associate Conservator for a three-year initiative, which is aimed at bridging the conservation efforts of the Kenneth Spencer Research Library and the Helen Foresman Spencer Museum of Art. Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Portland State University before earning a Master of Science in Art Conservation at the University of Delaware. She specializes in paper conservation and splits her time between the library and the museum, working with staff at each site to prioritize conservation projects with common goals.
